| Kate has been teaching dance and drama at IGS for the past three years. In 2009 Kate choreographed and helped organize the IGS rock eisteddfod item. She dedicated many hours to preparing dances for the performance including two afternoon rehearsals each week and many weekend rehearsals. Her energy and dynamism in preparing this massive event was really appreciated by myself and the students at the school. Kate is an amazing dancer herself and displays strong technical skills across a range of styles including hip hop, latin, African and jazz. Kate is also employed to take a teachers dance class at our school which is thoroughly enjoyed by all. Kate is choreographing and designing the dance and drama elements for rock eisteddfod 2010. I would highly recommend Kate as a dance teacher as she approaches all of her work with a professionalism and focus that is hard to find. | Wedding Dances Dear Kate, Adrian and I would just like to thank you for all your help choreographing our wedding dance. Your professional, yet caring and fun approach put us in great ease and made us feel so confident on the big day! Your ability to explain things so simply to such novices helped us to look like we knew what we were doing. Without your help I dread to think what we may have looked like on the dance floor and we are so appreciative of this. Parents Just a quick thanks for yesterday.. my son had great fun.. thankyou so much for giving him the passion to dance... it is really lovely to see him so excited about doing something especially seeing he is not doing it with any friends at all... he really must love it, you are obviously doing a great job :-) |

Just had to tell you that I thought this morning's performances were absolutely amazing. I can't believe the K-2's danced without being led (that is such an achievement in itself) and the choreography was so perfect for their age and experience. The routine for the big girls was also fantastic and I actually got teary watching them. All of that just in lunchtime rehearsals!!! You are amazing. A.Lintott (Crown St PS) |
