Kate is the founding director of Dance Zone Productions and has been operating the company since 2005.
Known for her bright and vivacious energy on stage and on camera, as a dancer, actor and musician, Kate has over 20 years of training/performance experience and 14 years of teaching experience. Motivated by her passion to bring positivity, confidence and success to the next generation of dancers, Kate’s biggest driving force is seeing students grow from fresh shakers and movers into well trained, confident performers.

Rose is DZP’s amazing administrative co‐ordinator!
Having run her own successful tiling business in Wellington, Rose is a powerhouse when it comes to administration and customer support.
At DZP, she manages class registrations and is your first point of call for any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year regarding your child’s dance classes.
Alysha Boa Morte Santos started dancing at a very early age when she was inspired by her parents, both dancers, who ran a Brazilian production company, ViVa Brasil Productions. Her father was also a master at the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira.
Alysha has trained at Dance Zone Productions since the age of 9 in hip hop, jazz ballet, popping, contemporary, breaking, locking and technique. She later moved on to DZP's representative hip hop crew, DZP Edge Crew, competing and placing in competitions such as the Kids Artistic Revue (KAR), Rainbow Dance Competition, and most recently making it through to Dance Life Unite Semi-finals, as well as performing at events including the Gold Kids Fundraiser for the Sydney Children’s Hospital and at multiple festivals around Sydney. Alysha's passion also led her to train in Brazil with the very best in Afro and Ballet.
Alysha moved into teaching at Redfern Dance Company, training students for NRL games and performing herself for the Rabbitohs. She now teaches children’s Jazz and Hip Hop classes at DZP as well as DZP's dance classes for students with disabilities.
Over the years, Alysha has learned to be a fierce and committed performer and a dedicated teacher. With experiences and opportunities that have pushed her beyond her years to become a skilled and passionate teacher, Alysha loves what she does and thrives to keep learning.
Ashley started dancing at the age of 5 with Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap Dance. She then ventured into Latin Ballroom and Street Jazz in 2006, and shortly afterwards began focusing on her freestyle in both Hiphop and Popping.
Ashley made her move to Sydney in 2011 to complete her Bachelor of Dance at Wesley Institute. She has had the opportunity to perform alongside Grammy Award winning hip hop group Blackstreet, for their 2015 Australian Tour. Ashley helped established Recognise Studios in Singapore in 2010, and now continues to work on running events under Jam Republic Sydney, such as Hip Hop International, Summer Jam Dance Camp and Radikal Forze Jam.
Whilst continuing to compete and perform in dance, Ashley is currently teaching full time and choreographing for the 4Elements Hiphop Festival.
Christian Icey started dancing in 2000. Travelling the world, gaining experience and inspiration in Breaking and other urban dance styles, Christian's unique style developed. He went on to compet and win many national and international competitions. As a stage solo performer for the European tour of the show “Night of the Dance” he also performed at some of Europe´s biggest theaters.
Besides dancing he finished a Bachelor degree in Fitness Economics and a Master degree in Education for high schools in P.E. and biology.

Crystal is a Sydney based dancer and teacher. She began dancing at the age of 5, her primary style being jazz technique. As of 2015 she became a qualified ADA Jazz Teacher and has been teaching children’s Jazz and Hiphop classes since 2014.
Crystal began popping in 2013, where she first delved into freestyle and other street styles such as house, waacking and Breaking.
Upon her travels in 2018, she learnt from Japanese Bgirls Ayumi, Shie Chan and Ayane some of Japan’s best female breakdancers.
Crystal is passionate about teaching kids and introducing them to freestyle from a young age to improve their confidence and identity as young dancers
Dalila Boa Morte Santos has a huge passion for sports, fitness and physical activity.
She is currently on level 2 monitor in Capoeira as well as being an intermediate gymnastics coach at the Australian Academy of Gymnastics. Dalila is currently undergoing her certificate 3 and 4 in fitness and her first aid and CPR certificate is updated every year.
Dalila has been a Capoeira performer and Brazilian drummer in Brazilian shows for over 10 years.
Having been a gymnastics coach in schools and gyms for five years, having taught taught capoeira for two years and coached soccer for one year, Dalila is not only a skilled practitioner but also an inspiring teacher.
Poppin’ Jack has been dancing for as long as he can remember and has worked hard and passionately to get to where he is today. Through years of experience learning from some of the best in the world Jack has gained knowledge, recognition and a deeper understanding of dance and how to teach.
Jack has been performing since he was very young and continues to perform and battle representing not only his crew Stale Biskitz but also Australia when he travels abroad. Some highlights have been winning the Original Gangstas Popping battle in Singapore, representing Australia at the Busan 3vs3 Hip Hop competition in South Korea and representing Australia at the Dance@Live World Final in Taiwan. Stale Biskitz has been Jacks crew since 2004 and is one of the longest standing Popping Crews in Australia.

Keanu is a well trained and professional dancer who competes, teaches and strives to better himself and the people around him. Growing up learning from Poppin Jack, Keanu has put in hard work learning from some of the best dance teachers in the world and constantly practicing and fine tuning his craft.
Recently travelling to Los Angeles to attend the first Electric Boogaloos dance camp and competition Keanu was able to meet, learn and practice with some of the best dancers in the world.

Leona Stojchevska Dodikj originally from Macedonia, began her dance studies and training back in her own country where she finished The Performing Arts High School. Furthermore, she continued her studies at the University for Contemporary Dance and Classical Ballet Pedagogy in Macedonia where she graduated with a bachelors degree in 2016.
Meanwhile, creating her own dance company in her hometown- Kumanovo called Dance Team Fusion, they’ve been apart of numerous dance competitions throughout Europe as well as becoming the state champions in 2017.
Whilst managing her dance company and teaching, she also was invitated to judge at esteemed competitions in her country as well as abroad. She has danced with the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in several shows.
Melanie has been dancing since the age of 3, training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Modern dance. During this time she took part in many ISTD and RAD ballet, tap, and modern exams.
At the age of 18 she gained a scholarship to attend Doreen Bird College of professional Dance and Musical Theatre (London, UK) where she further developed her training for 4 years, taking part in many shows during these years. After graduating Melanie felt passionate about passing her dance knowledge and experience onto students who shared the same love and passion for dance as she did.
Most recently she completed a BA honours degree in Dance Teaching back in the UK, whilst teaching at various primary and secondary schools, and also at a dance school.
Melanie has moved to Sydney with the ambition to continue teaching. Melanie wants students to enjoy and love what they do, as well as to learn and develop their skills and technique to become competent dancers. She aims to help students develop their passion and confidence in dance.
Sam has been dancing since the age of 9 at Groovetown, however due to closure, moved to Janice Breen Performing arts School at age 13. Training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Singing and Acting and pursuing experience within the commercial and contemporary industry.
Appearing in concept videos such as “Take Back the Night” and “Euphoria” choreographed by Alvin De Castro, which became internationally recognised on the WOD (World Of Dance) network. Also dancing for choreographer and teacher Holly Headrick in 2012 at Industry Rebooted 5 and filming “Red” as a concept video. Sam has been dancing with dance crew “Creative Identity” since the beginning of 2012 and appearing in competitions such as Australian Hip Hop Championship, Worldwide Supremacy Battlegrounds and being awarded the winners of “I Am Mos Wanted” tour Sydney Australia, which was hosted and judged by international choreographers Brian Puspos, Phillip “Pacman” Chbeeb and Olivia “Chachi” Gonzalez.
Having completed his Bachelor of Dance Degree at Wesley Institute, Sam has since worked with contemporary Artists such as Shaun Parker and is still performing regularly within independent companies and his dance crew.
Sam competed in artistic gymnastics for 10 years and was State champion on balance beam and floor exercise multiple times in California.
After retiring from competitive gymnastics at the ripe age of 16, she fell in love dance, training in Salsa, Bachata, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Breaking, and Hip Hop.
While attending Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, she performed with WU Dance Theatre and choreographed and performed in St. Louis’ Young Choreographer’s Showcase. After she graduated, she moved back to her hometown of Los Angeles, where she joined Grizzly Dance Company. She performed and competed Salsa and Bachata all over the States with GDC for 3 years.
Sam has taught Gymnastics, Acro, Breaking, and Hip Hop to children and teens of all ages. She has also tutored students in middle school up through university. She is a passionate instructor and focuses on foundation and technique to safely build up her students’ confidence, enthusiasm, and repertoire of tricks.
Shannon Campradt is Sydney based dancer, choreographer, and teacher.
She has been dancing for majority of life and isn’t going to stop.
Shannon has had intensive training completing a Certificate IV in Performing Arts at Urban Dance Centre, as well as a 3-month intensive course, Show Business under the mentorship of Marko Panzic and Katie Sanchez.
With various performances throughout Sydney such as;
Avon Conference, Team Event Christmas Party, Brian Lorenz Album Launch & more.
Shannon has shared her knowledge around Sydney as well with teaching at many different places,
Crossover Dance Studio, Le’Go Dance Camp, DSDA, DUTI Studios & M.O.V.
She has a strong passion and love for dance. Embracing the culture of street dance as well as learning different dance styles has really honed her craft and style. Making her a reputable figure in the freestyle and street dance community.
