Claudia

Claudia has been dancing for about twelve years as well as teaching and assistant teaching for five years.

During her time training, Claudia was able to become an assistant teacher while at school and find her love for sharing her passion. Her favourite style to dance and choreograph is contemporary and she loves creating jazz and musical theatre pieces as well.

Claudia has been a competitive dancer for most of her dance life and loves to perform and compete on stage. During her final year of school, was she the Dance Captain of her studio and loved being a role model for the other students and dancers. She learnt how to lead a team and what it takes to move forward and improve as both an individual dancer and as a team.

After graduation, she moved to Melbourne to complete her Certificate Four in Dance and her Certificate Four in Dance Teaching and Management. This was one of the best years of her life and she has taken so much from what she learnt from both courses into her teaching practice.

She cannot wait to start her teaching journey with DZP and is so excited to continue to learn and grow with this amazing group of people and students.

Jeremy

Jeremy Chau is a versatile dancer who has trained in many styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Afro, Dancehall, House and Musical Theatre. He has been a part of many different performance and video opportunities and has worked with a number of renowned choreographers and creatives such as Fetu Taku, Sela Vai, Blake John Wood and Lucy Doherty to name a few. It wasn’t until he began training with Fetu Taku and Sela Vai that he discovered his own unique movement which he incorporates into his choreography and teaching. His unique style of movement provides good training for the student as it pushes them out of their comfort zone and forces them to dance in ways that they wouldn’t normally do.

Jeremy is currently training 13+ hours a week with Chapman’s Dance Academy's performance team, At the Evolution National Championships in January 2022, his team won a number of national titles including 1st in Hip Hop, 1st in Contemporary and 2nd in Lyrical. He is also a part of the One Dance Collective, founded by Lucy Doherty and Rob Mclean. With the One Dance Collective, he performed at the Victorian Dance Festival in Melbourne in a piece choreographed by Lucy Doherty.

Jeremy is passionate about dance and always provides a chill and safe environment for students to comfortably express themselves in the form of dance.
