Kate is the founding director of Dance Zone Productions and has been operating the company since 2005.
Known for her bright and vivacious energy on stage and on camera, as a dancer, actor and musician, Kate has over 20 years of training/performance experience and 14 years of teaching experience. Motivated by her passion to bring positivity, confidence and success to the next generation of dancers, Kate’s biggest driving force is seeing students grow from fresh shakers and movers into well trained, confident performers.

Rose is DZP’s amazing administrative co‐ordinator!
Having run her own successful tiling business in Wellington, Rose is a powerhouse when it comes to administration and customer support.
At DZP, she manages class registrations and is your first point of call for any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year regarding your child’s dance classes.
Alysha Boa Morte Santos started dancing at a very early age when she was inspired by her parents, both dancers, who ran a Brazilian production company, ViVa Brasil Productions. Her father was also a master at the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira.
Alysha has trained at Dance Zone Productions since the age of 9 in hip hop, jazz ballet, popping, contemporary, breaking, locking and technique. She later moved on to DZP's representative hip hop crew, DZP Edge Crew, competing and placing in competitions such as the Kids Artistic Revue (KAR), Rainbow Dance Competition, and most recently making it through to Dance Life Unite Semi-finals, as well as performing at events including the Gold Kids Fundraiser for the Sydney Children’s Hospital and at multiple festivals around Sydney. Alysha's passion also led her to train in Brazil with the very best in Afro and Ballet.
Alysha moved into teaching at Redfern Dance Company, training students for NRL games and performing herself for the Rabbitohs. She now teaches children’s Jazz and Hip Hop classes at DZP as well as DZP's dance classes for students with disabilities.
Over the years, Alysha has learned to be a fierce and committed performer and a dedicated teacher. With experiences and opportunities that have pushed her beyond her years to become a skilled and passionate teacher, Alysha loves what she does and thrives to keep learning.
Ashley started dancing at the age of 5 with Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap Dance. She then ventured into Latin Ballroom and Street Jazz in 2006, and shortly afterwards began focusing on her freestyle in both Hiphop and Popping.
Ashley made her move to Sydney in 2011 to complete her Bachelor of Dance at Wesley Institute. She has had the opportunity to perform alongside Grammy Award winning hip hop group Blackstreet, for their 2015 Australian Tour. Ashley helped established Recognise Studios in Singapore in 2010, and now continues to work on running events under Jam Republic Sydney, such as Hip Hop International, Summer Jam Dance Camp and Radikal Forze Jam.
Whilst continuing to compete and perform in dance, Ashley is currently teaching full time and choreographing for the 4Elements Hiphop Festival.
Christine’s dance and teaching experience is a diverse combination of Jazz, JFH, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Zouk, Kizomba, Dancehall, Afro & Reggaeton. Over the past 10 years she has achieved numerous titles competing and performing at National and International events in the Latin Dance Scene.
Christine’s energetic personality shines through in both her teaching and performing. Her power, speed and fireball energy on stage are sure to entertain any audience. She has recently been part of the brand new dance show & competition on the Channel 7 Network, “Danceboss” Australia 2018, as a contestant in which her group placed 4th.

Claudia has been dancing for about twelve years as well as teaching and assistant teaching for five years.
During her time training, Claudia was able to become an assistant teacher while at school and find her love for sharing her passion. Her favourite style to dance and choreograph is contemporary and she loves creating jazz and musical theatre pieces as well.
Claudia has been a competitive dancer for most of her dance life and loves to perform and compete on stage. During her final year of school, was she the Dance Captain of her studio and loved being a role model for the other students and dancers. She learnt how to lead a team and what it takes to move forward and improve as both an individual dancer and as a team.
After graduation, she moved to Melbourne to complete her Certificate Four in Dance and her Certificate Four in Dance Teaching and Management. This was one of the best years of her life and she has taken so much from what she learnt from both courses into her teaching practice.
She cannot wait to start her teaching journey with DZP and is so excited to continue to learn and grow with this amazing group of people and students.
Crystal is a Sydney based dancer and teacher. She began dancing at the age of 5, her primary style being jazz technique. As of 2015 she became a qualified ADA Jazz Teacher and has been teaching children’s Jazz and Hiphop classes since 2014.
Crystal began popping in 2013, where she first delved into freestyle and other street styles such as house, waacking and Breaking.
Upon her travels in 2018, she learnt from Japanese Bgirls Ayumi, Shie Chan and Ayane some of Japan’s best female breakdancers.
Crystal is passionate about teaching kids and introducing them to freestyle from a young age to improve their confidence and identity as young dancers
Dalila Boa Morte Santos has a huge passion for sports, fitness and physical activity.
She is currently on level 2 monitor in Capoeira as well as being an intermediate gymnastics coach at the Australian Academy of Gymnastics. Dalila is currently undergoing her certificate 3 and 4 in fitness and her first aid and CPR certificate is updated every year.
Dalila has been a Capoeira performer and Brazilian drummer in Brazilian shows for over 10 years.
Having been a gymnastics coach in schools and gyms for five years, having taught taught capoeira for two years and coached soccer for one year, Dalila is not only a skilled practitioner but also an inspiring teacher.
Debbie Keenan is originally from New Zealand and moved to Melbourne to further her dance training in 2011. Here, she completed 2 years full-time dance training at The Space Dance and Arts Centre. Since then, Debbie has flourished in the Melbourne dance industry both as a performer and teacher.
Debbie has worked across a multitude of mediums with artists and organisations both locally and internationally. Her credits include working as a dancer for the global brand SOL REPUBLIC, performing in video clips for OKENYO, Dustin Tebbutt and choreographing for EMBER. She has also taught internationally in Hamburg, Germany and for The Artist League dance camp in Dehli, India.
Debbie is also a part of Lion Heart Dance Company. She performed in the company’s inaugural work, Table of Eight. Since then she has maintained a deep connection, training, performing and choreographing in the company. Debbie performed and choreographed her first full-length work, Your Story as part of Lion Heart Dance Company’s season of Still Frame. She also performed in the company's latest show CLASH at Chapel off Chapel in September 2019.
Debbie strives to continue sharing and passing on the knowledge she has gained in all her experiences to her students in class every day.
Hayley Doran began her dancing career around the age of 11 studying jazz, tap and lyrical on the NSW central coast. A few years later she furthered her education by taking classes in musical theatre, contemporary and hip hop, along with various professional workshops in Sydney.
In 2010 she was accepted into Anthony IKIN’s fulltime course enabling her to work with the best in the industry. During this time, she added acrobatics, singing, acting, breakdancing and ballet to her repertoire.
Hayley's performance credits include the Youth Olympic Opening Ceremony, Schools Spectacular, Australia Zoo, Katherine (NT) Family Awareness Day, Sunshine Coast Father’s Day Festivals, Sea World and Movie World. She performed in Marvin Priest’s ‘own this club’ and Kindred’s debut film clip which both play regularly on video hits. For the past 9 years, Hayley has been a cheerleader for the Sydney Roosters. She also performed alongside Diane Heaton in Bollywood films shot in Fiji.
With a gift for entertaining, Hayley has also had the opportunity of being in Sky Racings TVC’s, Woolworths TVC, Bundy Rum Print Ads, performing on ABC’s ‘The Giggle and Hoot TV Show’ as Charlie Bear and toured all around NSW and NT performing Smurf shows as Smurfette. Hayley also regularly performs at charity events for Ronald McDonald house.
Hayley is one to inspire others and make them believe in themselves and their dreams, which makes her a perfect fit for her work in teaching dance.
Rosalina (or Naine) is a teacher by heart and profession.
She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, majoring in Education and Theatre Arts in the Philippines.
Subsequently, Rosalina taught in Philippino primary schools for 6 years collectively, while simultaneously coaching and mentoring dance clubs and varsities in the schools she worked in.
During a three year hiatus from the academe, she indulged herself in her passion for dance and performing by joining a dance crew under contract with GMA 7, one of the biggest TV networks in the Philippines.
Now in Sydney, she is loving teaching hip hop dance in different primary and high schools as well as dance studios throughout the city.
Valeria started dancing at the age of 3 with Classical Ballet and Modern dance in her hometown in Italy. Throughout the years she improved her background with Lyrical-Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical and Belly Dance.
She completed her exams with the vocational course of "Cecchetti Classical Ballet" method with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London. She also studied Lyrical-Jazz and Tap Dance vocational ISTD courses.
From 2008 to 2010 Valeria was cast as Company Artist of "Ajukn Ballet Theatre", New York, USA, where she was performing classical repertoire but also neo-classical and contemporary.
After she completed her Bachelor Degree in Dance Education in Mantua, Italy, she kept working as a choreographer and dancer throughout many resorts in Europe and Africa, preparing shows and musicals with children, teenagers and adults.
Apart from her dance endeavours, Valeria continued to study and improve her background with a Bachelor Degree in "Exercise and Sport Science" and Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor Certificates in Italy.
Valeria loves to teach and choreograph, sharing her passion for dance with others!
