Claudia has been dancing for about twelve years as well as teaching and assistant teaching for five years.
During her time training, Claudia was able to become an assistant teacher while at school and find her love for sharing her passion. Her favourite style to dance and choreograph is contemporary and she loves creating jazz and musical theatre pieces as well.
Claudia has been a competitive dancer for most of her dance life and loves to perform and compete on stage. During her final year of school, was she the Dance Captain of her studio and loved being a role model for the other students and dancers. She learnt how to lead a team and what it takes to move forward and improve as both an individual dancer and as a team.
After graduation, she moved to Melbourne to complete her Certificate Four in Dance and her Certificate Four in Dance Teaching and Management. This was one of the best years of her life and she has taken so much from what she learnt from both courses into her teaching practice.
She cannot wait to start her teaching journey with DZP and is so excited to continue to learn and grow with this amazing group of people and students.

Sophie started dancing at the age of two years old in Sydney, Australia. At five years old she moved to Hong Kong, where she continued dancing for the subsequent decade. Sophie is trained and examined in a multitude of styles including but not limited to jazz, ballet, contemporary, as well as musical theatre.
Growing up Sophie also did a lot of stage and theatre performing. At the eight years old she was cast in the professional West End stage production of the musical Annie in the lead role. Following this she went on to do numerous professional touring productions as a child. Some of these include being cast as Alice in Alice in Wonderland and playing one of the Von Trapp children in The Sound Of Music.
At sixteen Sophie moved to Singapore where she began to compete with her studio. Her biggest competition to date was when she flew to LA to compete with dancers from all over the world, which her studio scored highly at.
Sophie has been teaching dance since the age of thirteen when she started running her own classes in Hong Kong for kids within her neighbourhood. This progressed when she moved to Singapore into a business, where she ran five classes weekly around her high school commitments. Sophie moved back to Australia two years ago to attend The University of Sydney, where she is currently studying Speech Pathology. Sophie loves to work with kids, and hopes to work in this profession one day whilst still maintaining her love of dance.
